We think that as the human being uses only a fraction of his brainpower, it also tends to see a fraction of the possibilities to handle a problem, to seek for new challenges, to make life something most rewarding.

We call what the average human being sees about the reality "the world", since for the general population this means "the whole thing". 

For that concept of "totality" we use another word that has implicit it wider range, and in particular that it include "the world" just as a part of it. We talk about "the Universe".

We we face a problem, seek for a challenge, or just try to make our existences something more than a confirmation of Darwin theories of evolution, we make our greatest efforts to sharp the view and the mind to search beyond "the World", into "the Universe".

But how can find for our selves and explain to the others where is the hidden portion of the Universe beyond the ordinary "World".

We imagine the whole Universe as a complete Euclidean plane, with no boundaries in any direction.

The World must be a some how limited portion of this "Universal plane", the easiest way to represent it, is by defining "the World" as just half a plane, a semi-plane. A portion of the place limited by one side by a infinite straight line that will never let "the World" expand into the other half. That is, the unbreakable limit that keep ordinary people believing that "the World", their known part of "the Universe", is all there is.

How to show the people in this situation the other side, the whole other side, at least as rich as "the World", that completes de Universe?

Perhaps by bringing some kind of action, a so call "transformation", that taking "the World" transforms it into "the hidden  World", letting everybody see that there is something beyond the ordinary way to look at the things.
